ABOUT Jeff

My photography captures the expressions of my love of nature and desire to share our small place in the natural world's majesty. 

As a child, photography provided a medium for not only seeing the world, but served as a companion. Through a hand-me-down camera from my father, I started to collect moments that inspired and fascinated me. The power of open spaces challenged me technically as well as artistically, but more importantly, it communicated with me in a way that made me want to share in a small part of its wonder.

As my love of landscape photography grew, I spent more time traveling to and capturing images of the classic landscape locations. With time, visiting these iconic places changed my perspective from re-creating the images of other great photographers to searching for my own viewpoint of the beauty of the location.

As I continue pursuing my artistic vision, it is my wish that others can share in the beauty and grandeur of the world around us.
